You will work on process documentation, time studies, root-cause analysis, and safety/quality improvements, reporting to the Manager - Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications

• In-progress degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop and update process documentation, work instructions and routings for Lateral Automation assembly operations.
• Assist in identifying and resolving assembly process issues through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Conduct time studies and process evaluations to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Support safety, quality, and efficiency improvements at workstations across multiple production lines.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop fixtures and tooling.
• Contribute to plant layout updates and capital projects.
