Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in Michigan seeks an engineering student intern to support assembly operations, quality investigations, and continuous improvement projects. You will analyze production data, perform time studies, and help with equipment installation and workstation design.

You will collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams on the production floor and gain hands-on experience with CAD tooling, Lean concepts, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferably past sophomore year.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Preferred CAD software experience and Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly operations, quality investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
