Job summary

Hermeus, a venture-backed defense aviation company in Atlanta, is seeking talented students to join their Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on the design, build, and testing of hardware for supersonic aircraft. Candidates must be enrolled in a STEM program, have a strong understanding of engineering principles, and a GPA of at least 3.0. The position offers a competitive hourly wage between $25 and $33.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate in third or fourth year, or in a Master's or Ph.D. program.
  • Access to U.S. export controlled information required.

Responsibilities

We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.

Hermeus is seeking talented students to join our Manufacture Engineering team in Atlanta.

Fall: Around 16 weeks (August - December)

Responsibilities
  • Work with experienced engineers to participate in the design, build, and test of hardware for our supersonic aircraft.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot challenges.
Minimum Requirements
  • Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies or projects.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (undergraduate student in your third or fourth year of study, or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program).
  • Strong interest in vehicle hardware.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus's mission.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.

$25 - $33 an hour
