L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support high‑reliability electronic hardware production for Tactical Satellite equipment. You will assist SMT solder assembly, mechanical integration, and environmental testing, contributing to new product introductions and process improvements.

The role involves creating work instructions, qualifying tools, and working with cross‑functional teams to transfer products from engineering to production.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or industrial engineering or related field.
• Experience with soldering and/or basic electronic manufacturing processes preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and basic 3D printing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
• Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing tools and processes.
• Develop manufacturing strategies for products and processes.
• Interface with engineering to release new products.
