Job summary

Entegris’ Burnet, TX site is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. The six-month assignment will focus on sustaining and improving canister/ampoule processes and supporting CAD-driven documentation.

Ideal candidates are mechanical engineering students, aiming to graduate in 2027–2028, who thrive in a collaborative setting, enjoy hands-on work, and can commit to a 40-hour workweek (8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Sponsorship is not provided for this role.

Qualifications

• Engineering students pursuing a degree with an interest in manufacturing
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Willingness to engage in hands-on processes and learn rapidly

Responsibilities

• Learn canister/ampoule cleaning and assembly processes and safety control systems
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve production processes for value, safety and efficiency
• Support 2D drawings of components, subassemblies and BOMs up to ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards
• Create new part numbers, engineering change requests (ECRs) and other supporting documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain a safe and productive workplace
