Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Analyst to join the El Paso, TX team!

The hourly rate for this position is $23.92 - $27.50 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.

Shift: 7:00am-3:45pm

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Engineering Analyst will support Manufacturing Engineers in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across assembly operations. The role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing data using Power BI and other reporting tools to develop dashboards, performance metrics, and business insights. This role combines hands-on manufacturing support with data analytics responsibilities, including process development and improvement, time studies, capital-project support to improve productivity, quality, capacity, and overall business performance.

In this function you will:

• Support assembly, material feeding, and testing operations by resolving shop-floor issues and serving as a liaison between Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Assist with manufacturing methods, process development, capacity planning, equipment implementation, design changes, and new product introductions to support plant objectives.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, work-cell evaluations, and process assessments to improve labor utilization, material flow, manufacturing efficiency, and cost performance.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, setup reduction, cost-reduction projects, process changes, and compliance with Eaton Lean Systems, Quality Systems, MESH, and Pro Launch requirements.
• Support the evaluation, procurement, installation, and startup of new capital equipment, including data collection and ROI analysis for developing and existing projects.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards, reports, and performance metrics while supporting manufacturing data collection, validation, and visualization efforts.
• Analyze production, quality, labor, downtime, and equipment data to identify trends, support capacity planning, and provide actionable insights for operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and pivot tables.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.

Position Criteria:

• Ability to read engineering drawings, understanding of basic CAD and drafting principles
• Ability in the use of engineering and productivity tools (CAD software, Office suite and AS400)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality tools (e.g. Kaizen, time study, VSM, PFMEA, problem solving tools) and safety management tools
• Ability to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, including tooling, fixtures and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and report creation.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing data and communicate insights to support business decisions.
• Understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience and knowledge of tools, common applications, and devices (hand tools, multimeters, measurements devices, etc.)
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees, manage vendors, contractors, etc.
• Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in a proper manner and look for any potential hazards or warning signs.
• Basic understanding of SQL databases and data extraction tools is preferred.
