The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with CAD software such as Inventor.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, engineering support, or a technical manufacturing role.
  • Experience developing work instructions, technical documents, or manufacturing procedures.
  • Ability to read and adjust assembly drawings, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Inventor Design Software or 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain clear work instructions for machining and assembly processes using text, graphics, and technical documentation.
  • Support operations engineering activities, including troubleshooting, process improvements, and production support.
  • Review and update assembly drawings, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes as needed.
  • Create, manage, and verify engineering changes (ECR/ECO).
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Service teams to improve manufacturability and resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Work hands-on with production teams to improve processes and ensure documentation reflects current manufacturing practices.
  • Participate as a member of the company Safety Committee.

Position Summary

Paper Machinery Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and assembly operations through work instruction development, technical support, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on role serves as a key connection between Engineering, Production, and Service, ensuring designs are manufacturable, documentation is accurate, and manufacturing challenges are resolved efficiently.
