Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on a 12-month contract in San Diego, CA. The position shifts to 1st shift, 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $20–$25 per hour. This is a contract on W2 opportunity for a medical device company.

Responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes, layout design, and assessing manufacturability of designs. Applicants should have experience with quality systems and validation plans (IOPQ).

• Manufacturing Engineering develops manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and associated tools.
• Reviews new designs for manufacturability.
• Designs process improvements to reduce product cost, cycle time and improve quality.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering principles and technologies.
• Experience working with Quality Systems.
• Experience working with Validation Plans (IOPQ).
