Job summary

TAE Technologies, a leader in targeted radiation therapy manufacturing, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to scale up production for ICR devices. The role focuses on thin film processes (CVD, PVD, Thermal Evaporation) and compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO 13485.

You will collaborate with scientists, design engineers, and QA to validate processes and optimize equipment performance in a hybrid Irvine setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, materials, chemical engineering, or related field.
• “5+ years’ experience in thin film processes and equipment (e.g., CVD, PVD, Thermal Evaporation).”
• Experience in regulated environments (medical device quality systems preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and scale manufacturing capacity in a GMP environment.
• Collaborate with scientists, design engineers, and quality teams to scale operations.
• Lead process validation, equipment, tooling, and process documentation under FDA/ISO 13485.
• Troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions to enhance consistency.
• Support equipment maintenance, installation, and qualification activities.
• Develop fixturing and tooling concepts with design engineers.
