Job summary

Hydro-Gear LLC seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader/Manager in Princeton, KY to oversee staff and processes, ensuring equipment availability and production readiness. You’ll provide technical guidance in a safe, climate-controlled environment and coach staff to perform at their best.

The role requires a BS degree (or equivalent) and 6+ years of related experience with supervisory responsibilities. CAD/NX, Excel, and Word experience are expected as part of leading continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 6+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (e.g. Engineering Manager, Engineering Superintendent, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Team Lead).
• Experience with CAD, NX Design Software, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff levels to plan and ensure capability to meet department needs.
• Supervise and set expectations and priorities for manufacturing engineers, process technicians, and TPM groups.
• Use project management to ensure safe, proper, and timely support for production, quality, and development projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers and leaders to deliver projects.
• Participate in large capital projects and equipment procurement.
• Build, inspire, motivate and mentor employees.

The Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader / Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and support of all staff and processes in the department to ensure maximum availability of the equipment to meet production needs while ensuring all administrative procedures are followed. In this role, you will provide technical guidance and coaching in a safe, clean, climate-controlled environment that will enable you to perform at your best.
