Job summary

DeZURIK, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide manufacturing engineering support for product design, improvement, cost reduction and daily operations; deliver tooling, processes and timely implementation. This is an on-site role in Houston, TX.

Please note sponsorship is not available for this role. The position emphasizes collaboration with shop floor teams, documentation, process control and capital project handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 5 years of experience specifying manufacturing processes and CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes.
• Document processes, time studies, tooling design, and work instructions.
• Plan and implement process engineering for new product development.
• Justify new tooling, machines, and equipment; manage capital requests.
• Serve as first point of contact for shop floor issues.
• Provide training for specialized processes and machine operators.
• Support environmental, health and safety programs.
• Create routings and shop floor work instructions.
• Read GD&T and use SolidWorks and Mastercam for design and CAM.
