Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to implement production methods and controls that meet quality standards in a cost-efficient manner. You will collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. You will monitor operations, prepare standard work, and support equipment upgrades to drive efficiency and

Qualifications

Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices and procedures.
Knowledge of manufacturing production/cell development.
Ability to operate CAD software to support model and print modifications.

Responsibilities

Implement production/processing methods to meet quality standards cost-efficiently.
Liaise between engineering and manufacturing.
Recommend improvements for operations and equipment utilization.
Monitor operations for schedule adherence and quality.
Generate and maintain process documentation to standardize throughput and quality.
Advise on equipment upgrades or modernization.
Collaborate with customers/suppliers on requirements.
Evaluate technologies for cost reduction and improvements; check drawings and develop new systems.
Coordinate installation of new tools and equipment.
Monitor safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
