Job summary
Caterpillar in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on NX CAD/CAM, NC programming and manufacturing process development. You will create process plans, routing, and BOMs in the MRP system, collaborate with shop floor, QA, and operations to implement new products, and design fixtures for machining centers and lathes.
Strong reading of blueprints and GD&T is required. Onsite five days a week; visa sponsorship not available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience or a GED with 10+ years of experience.
- Solid modeling experience; NX preferred.
- Experience with multi-axis NC programming and model-based definition parts.
Responsibilities
- Work in a safe manner.
- Create routing and BOMs in the MRP system (Infor BAAN).
- Develop and document manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with shop floor to improve programs and processes.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to implement new products.
- Design work holding for machining centers and lathes using NX CAD/CAM.
