Accton Technology Corporation, based in Mesquite, TX, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to manage DIP wave/selective soldering, mechanical assembly processes, and equipment parameters for PCB depanelers and press-fit machines. You will drive NPI builds, line changeovers, process yield control, and routine maintenance, with weekend/holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related STEM fields.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in assembly process engineering and manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Basic proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software for tooling and fixture design is preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and basic data analysis for process validation and performance monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills for cross-functional work.
• Ability to analyze NPI defect rates, process yield losses, and machine downtime trends to develop corrective engineering solutions.
• Proficient in DIP line machinery operations (depanelers, press-fit, wave/selective soldering), thermal profilers, multi-meters, and mechanical repair hand tools, and assembly/packaging tools and fixtures.
• Ability to work on-site in Mesquite, TX and support hands-on activities on the production floor.

Responsabilités

• Develop and fine-tune process parameters for DIP production machinery (PCB routers/depanelers, press-fit, soldering ovens).
• Lead NPI trial runs, validate manufacturing feasibility, and establish standardized operating parameters.
• Develop and improve tooling/fixtures for assembly and packaging to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Monitor production yields, perform real-time root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee line changeovers (tooling, programs, parameters) to maintain throughput.
• Perform preventive maintenance and track repair trends to ensure uptime.
• Assess options for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and automation to improve line performance.
• Conduct operator training on SOPs, machine operations, and safety protocols.
• Support occasional weekend/holiday shifts as production needs arise.
