Manufacturing Engineer (Mid-Level)
Kodiak Aircraft is seeking a capable Manufacturing Engineer to help turn aircraft design intent into repeatable, efficient, and controlled production methods. This role connects Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Tooling, Supply Chain, ERP, and cost. You will work with Senior Manufacturing Engineers and production teams to improve build sequence, methods, manufacturing documentation, tooling needs, and DFM feedback. It is a growth role with real ownership in assigned areas, shop‑floor engagement, and a path toward broader autonomy over time.
Better methods, clearer work content, practical DFM feedback, and stronger shop‑floor alignment help reduce rework, build inconsistency, and unnecessary labor.
At Kodiak Aircraft, Manufacturing Engineering is close to the product, the mechanics, and the production challenges that matter. This role gives you the opportunity to improve real aircraft build processes while developing broader technical ownership over time. Sandpoint offers meaningful aerospace work in a unique location, with Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain nearby. If you enjoy hands‑on manufacturing engineering and want your work to show up directly on the aircraft, we would like to hear from you.
