Qualifications
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally as a Methods Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement techniques.
Experience with process mapping, time studies, and work measurement.
Proficient in using CAD software, manufacturing simulation tools, and ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
Analyze and design efficient production processes for manufacturing systems.
Develop and implement process improvements to reduce production time, cost, and waste.
Create and maintain process documentation.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams for method integration.
Conduct time studies and process optimization.
Identify potential issues or bottlenecks in production.
Develop new tools, technologies, and equipment for production processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
Assist in design and layout of production lines.
Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing efficiency issues.
Provide training and support for new methods.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
