Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production processes at a Carrier facility in the United States. You will develop line layouts, process sheets, time studies, and capacity analyses, while supporting line installation and stabilization and driving Lean improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in discrete/assembly environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a discrete/assembly environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, documents and implements manufacturing processes and standard work instructions.
  • Develops line layouts, process sheets, time studies and capacity analyses.
  • Supports the installation, implementation and stabilization of production lines.
  • Leads process-improvement, productivity and scrap-reduction projects.
  • Supports new-product introduction (NPI) and PPAP/APQP activities.
  • Applies Lean tools and structured problem-solving on the floor.
  • Creates and maintains visual aids, work instructions and process documentation.
