Tenneco is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the United States to lead engineering support and continuous improvement initiatives that drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure robust processes, reliable equipment, and successful product launches in a Lean, data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with APQP and core tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC) preferred.
• Automotive or Tier 1 manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and automation improvements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality systems, and customer requirements.
• Lead capital projects from justification through installation and validation.
• Drive equipment reliability and process capability improvements with Maintenance and Quality.
• Lead CI initiatives using Lean, 5S, and structured problem solving.
• Track and report performance metrics (productivity, scrap, safety, delivery).
• Support new product launches including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP readiness.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and work instructions.
• Partner with leadership to execute plant CI strategy and operational readiness.
• Coach and influence teams on CI tools, accountability, and standard work.
