Job summary

Indicon LLC in Reading, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved productivity and product quality. You will work with production, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.

The role focuses on process automation, tooling solutions, and robust documentation to support new product introductions and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher in a manufacturing engineering-type field.
  • 3–5 years minimum hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with process improvement, tooling, and production optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality.
  • Evaluate and implement automation, tooling, and process improvements.
  • Identify root causes and apply structured problem-solving to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and operations to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, specs).
  • Lead process validation, trials, and documentation for new products/processes.
  • Monitor production metrics and provide data-driven improvement recommendations.
  • Partner with maintenance to ensure equipment performance.
