Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and capital projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will lead projects from problem definition to handoff to Operations, with emphasis on engineered-to-order environments such as heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

Qualifications

  • Experience in heat exchanger manufacturing, pressure vessel, or engineered-to-order environments.
  • Proficiency with CAD/layout software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Demonstrated leadership of manufacturing or capital projects from concept to implementation.
  • Experience with layouts, process flows, capacity analysis, and production optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost.
  • Analyze existing processes to cut cycle time, labor hours, material handling, and waste.
  • Design concepts, process flows, workstation layouts, tooling, fixtures, and material handling solutions.
  • Establish standard work, routings, labor standards, work instructions, and process docs.
  • Lead capacity analysis, time studies, line balancing, bottleneck analysis for production needs.
  • Support floor layout development and new/modified production areas.
  • Provide technical support to Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.
  • Manage projects from concept through implementation and hand-off to Operations.
  • Develop and monitor schedules and action-item trackers to meet commitments.
  • Support new product introductions and Design-for-Manufacturability reviews.
