Job summary

Royal Electric Company in Dallas is inviting applications for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern role starting Summer 2027, to join our Manufacturing team and gain hands-on experience.

You will assist with engineering services, create 3D models, produce drawings, participate in process improvements, and help ensure safety and quality on a fast-paced shop floor.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with 3D modelling is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering Services and assist in problem solving.
• Produce engineering drawings with high quality.
• Create 3D models to support product completion and documentation.
• Assist in production to meet requirements and ensure documentation.
• Support safety, quality audits, and process improvements on the shop floor.

We are currently accepting applications for Interns for our Dallas Office location. This opportunity will be starting Summer 2027, working with our Manufacturing team.

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will have the opportunity for invaluable experience and professional growth by hands on experience, collaborating closely with a team, and real-world work. Put your education into action by assisting our manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

Provide Engineering Services

• Provide support and expertise to help solve challenging problems.
• Produce engineering drawings with industry leading quality.
• Participate in process improvement planning in a team-based environment.
• Help build and maintain a Royal Electric Library of resources and systems.
• Create 3D models to support product completion as well as the documentation process.

Assist in the production of high-quality products to support field operations

• Interface with internal teams and suppliers to ensure that production requirements are met and correctly documented.
• Comply with safety regulations when in the shop.
• Assist in the quality audit process including planning, preparing, executing, reporting results, and following up.
• Ensure products meet the standards below:
• Products are free from defects.
• Products are produced in a timely manner.
• Products are made in cost efficient manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow-up skills internally and externally.
• Must be detail-orientated and well organized.
• Ability to work with a team and independently.

Education & Experience

• In the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3D modelling experience

Internships will look different based on a candidate’s direction, goals, and schooling.

Salary Range:

• $22-$27
