Job summary

Analog Devices, a global leader in semiconductors, invites University students to join as Manufacturing Interns. You will be part of a team focused on addressing product and process interactions to meet output, quality, and cost goals.

The role demands hands-on work with complex equipment and cross-functional collaboration across design, process, and manufacturing teams. The internship emphasizes learning, mentorship, and potential for full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on with automated and manual manufacturing equipment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, quality, yield, cost, and time-to-market.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Eng, Mechanical Eng, Test Eng, Process Dev, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Perform data analysis, support SPC, and use data to optimize manufacturing outcomes.
  • Create and maintain process docs, including MES updates.
  • Support risk identification, mitigation, and production release schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Generate detailed assembly guides for processes including attach, wirebond, and seal operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and quality in assembly/manufacturing.
  • Work with design engineers to develop fixturing and manufacturability improvements.
  • Implement process improvements for existing assembly methods.
  • Contribute to time-to-market, cost, and quality improvements with DFx practices.
  • Coordinate manufacturing plans and schedules for pipeline development.
  • Support process documentation updates in MES.
