Job summary

Layup Parts is seeking Manufacturing Engineer Interns to design molds, generate ply kits, and drive DFM improvements as customer demand grows. You will work closely with production to understand bottlenecks and develop scalable solutions, while documenting processes and tooling specs for manufacturing.

A strong CAD background and composites exposure will help you succeed in this role. You will be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering and must be eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Some background in composites manufacturing from school projects or prior work.
• Proficient in CAD and able to create professional drawings for manufacture.
• U.S. Persons status is required to access export-controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Design molds and tools for customer parts with documentation.
• Generate ply/kit from design data and projector data/programming.
• Support cost-down and DFM efforts as production scales with demand.
• Work hands-on with production to identify bottlenecks and improve processes.
