Qualifications

  • Enrollment as a full-time student with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing engineering projects that improve product quality, operational efficiency, or manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams
  • Assist with the creation, revision, and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, work instructions, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Analyze data, investigate issues, and help identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing operations

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, build practical engineering skills, and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, high-tech manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Depending on business needs and project assignments, responsibilities may include:

  • Support manufacturing engineering projects that improve product quality, operational efficiency, or manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams
  • Assist with the creation, revision, and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, work instructions, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Analyze data, investigate issues, and help identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing operations
  • Support implementation of engineering changes, process updates, and other operational initiatives
  • Gain exposure to the tools, systems, and processes used in a manufacturing environment
What You’ll Learn

Qualifications and Skills
  • Major/Program: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a desire to learn and contribute
  • Experience with CAD software and technical drawings preferred

Pay & Benefits:
  • Approximately 12-week internship program during Summer 2027
  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Hourly pay range of $22.00 - $23.00, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Eligible for time off in compliance with applicable state laws
