Who We Are Looking For

You enjoy combining engineering thinking with hands-on manufacturing work. You’re comfortable on the production floor—building, testing, troubleshooting, and working alongside technicians, operators, and manufacturing teams.

This internship is best suited for someone who has completed or is nearing completion of a two- or four-year technical degree and has practical experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment. You bring mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools, and curiosity about improving how products are built.

  • Fit, adjust, and test hardware to verify proper form, function, and conformance to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot assembly and production issues with technicians and operators.
  • Support manufacturing improvements by observing processes, gathering data, and helping implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to manufacturing line planning, layouts, and process flow.
  • Conduct timing studies to evaluate cycle times and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with the design, evaluation, and testing of fixtures and tooling.
  • Document assembly procedures, work instructions, and process observations.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Completion or near-completion of a two- or four-year technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly, or general shop-floor work.
  • Ability to apply structured problem-solving to manufacturing challenges.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in an in-person manufacturing environment and collaborating across engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of a hands-on manufacturing role, including extended standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
