This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design. • Develop manufacturing plans defining flow through fabrication, assembly, test, and integration
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure hardware meets requirements, schedule, and budget
  • Support NPI activities including build plans, duration estimates, and manufacturing readiness reviews
  • Create tWO and mWOs to support build and execution of payload.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field)
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Proficiency in CAD (Creo preferred) and PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Hands‑on experience with hardware assembly, fabrication, or machining
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Aerospace hardware manufacturing experience
  • Experience with CNC machining, forming, welding, brazing, or additive manufacturing
  • Supplier quality experience (audits, technical interchanges, process controls)
  • Spacecraft or launch vehicle integration exposure
  • Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS, NASTRAN)
  • Experience with tWO/mWO documentation and execution
  • Able to navigate Blue’s MRP demand process.
