Job summary

DISHER is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to partner with customers on manufacturing and project-based work. You will communicate with customers, lead and manage projects, and provide manufacturing engineering solutions.

What you will get to do includes delivering engineering solutions, updating customers on progress, aiding with manufacturing projects, and ensuring timelines and budgets. You will also lead teams and pursue a growth path with coaching and internal collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a similar degree.
• Lean manufacturing familiarity with value stream mapping, 5S, standard work, and kaizen.
• Six Sigma training or certification (Green Belt or higher) with DMAIC problem solving and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent engineering solutions and go above and beyond for customers.
• Communicate with customers on project updates, conception, cleanups, and progress.
• Assist customers with manufacturing or project-based engineering work.
• Ensure timeline, budget, and scope are followed for each project.
• Lead projects and project teams in creating solutions for customer issues.
• Participate in DISHER internal project teams.
