Job summary

Keel is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support engineering activities across product design, fabrication, and assembly. You will develop manufacturing documentation, support production processes, and help ensure design intent is met throughout the project life cycle.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality and project teams to improve manufacturability, efficiency and product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safe, effective use of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college, university or technical school.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training in engineering or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of SolidWorks experience.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering activities related to product design, steel processing, fabrication and assembly throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop manufacturing documentation and support production processes.
• Improve manufacturability, efficiency and product quality with cross‑functional teams.
• Create work packages defining operation sequences, routings and product structures in ERP.
• Use CAD to create drawings, fixtures and tooling concepts.
• Program nesting software to support cutting and material efficiency.
• Review design disclosures and ensure flow‑down requirements are in work packages.
• Interface with internal departments and customers to support manufacturing needs.
• Provide technical support to production on fabrication and assembly processes.
• Participate in department process improvements and best practices.
