A leading automotive lighting manufacturer in Illinois seeks a Manufacturing Engineer - II to plan and implement manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, analyze efficiency, and develop quality planning documentation. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience is required. Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a Just In Time (JIT) automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day technical support and training for the assembly processes.
• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing assembly line layouts and workflow.
• Develops Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements.
• Leads activities to build prototype and pre-production samples.
• Supports Program Management with project micro-schedules.
• Identifies tooling, equipment needs, and communicates with internal teams.
