Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and drive quality-driven manufacturing systems for harness and cable assemblies. You will create robust processes, interpret drawings and BOMs, and implement tools and fixtures to optimize production while supporting engineering changes.

The role requires a BS in engineering with at least 2 years of experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years manufacturing engineering experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Develops processes for efficient production of harness systems.
Creates and maintains work instructions to optimize manufacturability.
Problem solves and recommends solutions for production and customer design issues.
Assist with engineering efforts to implement new products into production.
Designs and implements tools and fixtures for manufacturing.
Investigates and justifies new equipment purchases.
Assists with process/document changes due to engineering changes.
Interprets drawings and internal BOMs for accuracy.
Provides expert technical support to production teams.
Supports purchasing, quality, test and production departments to ensure product integrity.
