Job summary

RANDYS Worldwide is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Riverside operations on the factory floor. The role focuses on improving existing processes, developing tooling and fixtures, and ensuring safe, efficient production without owning new product development.

You will work with operators, supervision, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to reduce cycle time, improve throughput, and standardize production methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing/production engineering experience.
• Direct floor experience designing tooling, fixtures, jigs, and workstations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent) for tooling documentation.
• Experience with time studies, process capability analysis, and labor standards development.
• Ability to partner with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Operations.
• Hands-on troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, hands-on engineering support to Riverside manufacturing operations.
• Spend time on the floor observing processes, troubleshooting, and verifying improvements.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and ergonomic workstations.
• Create CAD drawings, BOMs, and specs for tooling and equipment improvements.
• Evaluate processes with time studies and data analysis.
• Identify bottlenecks and ergonomic risks affecting safety and throughput.
• Develop solutions to reduce cycle time, improve line balance, and material flow.
• Document production processes, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Lead or support root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering for changes and implement standard work.
• Maintain manufacturing records and support Lean CI activities.
