Job summary

Castelion Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, build, operate, and maintain equipment for ceramic matrix composite production. This hands-on role focuses on practical manufacturing solutions and reliability improvements on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has experience designing, fabricating, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems through hands-on projects and relevant competitions or real-world manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
• Experience with CAD and engineering drawings.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic fabrication equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, assemble, and test equipment for CMC production.
• Develop modifications to improve performance, safety, and throughput.
• Lead equipment development projects from concept to implementation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and thermal equipment.
• Support maintenance planning and uptime improvements with Facilities teams.
• Create engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
