Job summary

Ilocatum in Newnan, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer focused on die casting and foundry. This onsite role involves designing production tooling, automating production lines, and owning projects end to end in a plant investing in new capital equipment.

Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and experience in heavy manufacturing, tooling design with SolidWorks, robotics and PLC automation, and solid project management. Relocation assistance is available and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Manufacturing engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Tooling design experience with SolidWorks.
• Automation experience with robotics and PLCs.
• Project management experience running projects start to finish.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling and processes for new and existing products.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, fixturing, and gauging.
• Drive productivity improvements with Lean tools, root cause analysis, and DOE.
• Run FMEAs and design for manufacturability reviews.
• Create work instructions and spare and critical parts inventories.
