Foxconn Industrial Internet is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Bilingual Mandarin) in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on SMT process engineering, improving yield, quality, and efficiency on the production line, with direct leadership of SMT operators and technicians.

The candidate should hold a B.S. in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (MS/MBA preferred) and have 2+ years in electronics manufacturing. English is required; Mandarin or Vietnamese a plus. EOE.

Manufacturing Engineer (Bilingual Mandarin)

FULL-TIME/PERMANENT
JOB FUNCTION: A Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Process Engineer generally assists in the production line of surface mount technologies, which involve attaching electronic materials to printed circuit boards. Finished products will be inspected by an engineer to assess their quality. The SMT Engineer will provide feedback or will sometimes make the fixes. It is also important to inspect various machines, tools, and materials involved in the process to make sure that they are working properly. It is also important to monitor the work of individuals to make sure that the work being done is of quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, M.S./M.B.A in Engineering or related is a plus.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience. Experience in the electronic manufacturing is a plus.
LANGUAGE: English proficiency required, Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus.
