Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to deliver daily technical and process support in the Operations Department. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, cost reduction, and improving quality and reliability across production lines.

You will coordinate with engineers, contractors and suppliers, organize workflows, optimize layouts, and ensure safety and environmental compliance while driving efficiency initiatives and small capital projects.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Process troubleshooting and testing to improve batch quality and cost reduction.
  • Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
  • Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance.
  • Resolve issues and delays in production and coordinate with teams to implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors and suppliers to meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
  • Upgrade systems and processes with new technology.
  • Coordinate/facilitate efficiency initiatives and capital projects.
