Battery Manufacturing Engineer, in partnership with an innovative manufacturing organization, is responsible for designing and optimizing production lines, developing technical specifications, and integrating automated equipment in advanced battery systems.

Job Duties
  • Design and implement both greenfield and brownfield manufacturing production lines
  • Develop RFQs and technical specifications for vendor and equipment sourcing
  • Create engineering drawings and 3D CAD models using tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX
  • Design automation equipment, tooling, fixtures, and production layouts
  • Integrate robotics, vision systems, and automated systems into manufacturing lines
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production equipment to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and drive process improvements
  • Coordinate across sites and support international and domestic travel as needed
Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive, EV, or industrial automation
  • Previous experience in battery/battery engineering
  • Experience with production line design and implementation
  • Expertise in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
  • Knowledge of equipment and automation systems (robotics, conveyors, jigs, fixtures)
  • Experience writing RFQs and equipment specifications
  • Understanding of DFM and process optimization methodologies
  • Experience with battery systems, drive units, or EV manufacturing
  • Hands‑on validation, reliability, or performance testing experience
  • Familiarity with robotics and machine vision systems
  • Background in powertrain or automation‑heavy manufacturing environments
  • Willingness to travel 25–40% across CA, AZ, and Saudi Arabia
