Job summary

Neros Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own hardware and production cell design from concept through production. You will optimize manufacturability and cost, design tooling, run DoE studies, and develop robust production documentation and plans.

The role reports to the Head of Engineering and requires a mechanical engineering degree with 3+ years in fast-paced environments, plus CAD experience (SolidWorks/NX) and tooling development expertise.

Qualifications

• Design for manufacturability (DFM) considerations during part and process development.
• Development of production tooling and equipment.
• Design of experiments to qualify production processes.
• Documentation of processes, build instructions, test procedures, and safety standards.
• Participation in design reviews to drive DFM.
• Creation and maintenance of detailed production plans and schedules.
• Analysis and resolution of manufacturing issues and non-conformances.
• Mentoring and training peers and colleagues.

What you will be doing

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Neros, you will own key components of our products, starting from the conceptual design phase all the way through production. This is a dynamic and exciting role at a rapidly growing startup and will report directly to the Head of Engineering.

You should have the following

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in fast paced engineering/manufacturing environments
• Ability to solve engineering problems through first principles thinking
• Experience with a CAD software such as Solidworks or NX
• Experience developing, designing, and improving tooling to optimize manufacturing/production lines
• Overseen introduction and implementation of new products and manufacturing capabilities

US Salary Range

$90,000 - $150,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
