Ingenics is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support Final Assembly activities for new automotive vehicle programs and ongoing industrialization projects. The role emphasizes manufacturing and equipment planning, RFQ development, installation support, and production launch readiness, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for production.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of automotive manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within Final Assembly.
  • Experience with vehicle industrialization, launches, and manufacturing equipment implementation.
  • Experience developing technical specifications and RFQ packages.
  • Knowledge of automotive assembly processes, tooling, station balancing, and production readiness.
  • Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and supplier coordination.
  • Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage engineering activities from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities for new vehicle programs and ongoing industrialization projects.
  • Develop technical requirements and RFQ packages for manufacturing equipment, tooling, and infrastructure.
  • Evaluate equipment and process requirements based on production needs, station balancing, and process instructions.
  • Support Final Assembly areas including Chassis, Decking, Pre-Trim, and Trim.
  • Plan and coordinate equipment installations, commissioning, pre-series builds, and production handover.
  • Support equipment such as tightening systems, lift assists, AMRs/AGVs, scanners, Pick-to-Light systems, conveyance, and robotic cells.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure launch readiness.
  • Support manufacturing requirements related to HEV, PHEV, and BEV vehicle programs.

About the Opportunity:
