Job summary

Carnegie Robotics is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, launch, and continuous improvement of advanced electromechanical products in a fast-paced robotics environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to drive APQP initiatives, resolve quality issues, and optimize assembly processes across complex robotic systems.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing and assembly.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
  • Drive APQP initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies.

Job Summary

Carnegie Robotics is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, launch, and continuous improvement of advanced electromechanical products. This individual will play a key role in driving manufacturing readiness, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and ensuring high-quality production processes across complex robotic systems.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
  • Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives
What You’ll Have
  • 5-10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing and assembly
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
How You’ll Stand Out
  • You have experience with embedded Linux systems, microcontrollers, or industrial sensor integration
  • Experience with PCB assemblies, cable/harness builds
  • Background with electromechanical products
  • Exposure to robotics or complex systems manufacturing
  • You have work experience in robotics, automation, or low-volume high-mix manufacturing environments
