Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years in aerospace fabrication, welding, forming, machining, and processing.
  • 2+ years developing machining processes for complex assemblies.
  • 3+ years working with brake presses, CNC punching, laser cutting, hydroforming, CNC lathes/mills, and welding.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks required; Mastercam a plus).
  • Experience with complex aerospace materials and OEM requirements

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed work instructions (MOTs), setup sheets, and process plans.
  • Design and validate machining processes for complex aerospace fabrications.
  • Develop tooling solutions including fixtures, work holding, gauges, and cutting tools.
  • Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts.
  • Analyze and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
  • Perform manufacturability reviews on technical drawings.
  • Develop and maintain routers and related documentation

About the Role: Precise Metal Products is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support and develop aerospace manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace fabrication and machining and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed work instructions (MOTs), setup sheets, and process plans
