Job summary

Dauch Corporation, a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Minerva, OH team. You will implement manufacturing techniques, select equipment, and design tooling to maximize throughput while maintaining quality and safety.

You will work on automation and robotics integration, develop equipment purchase proposals, and mentor operators to ensure manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement across the line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement tools.
• CAD proficiency for design and analysis of processes and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment purchase proposals by studying manufacturing plans and commitments; evaluating manufacturing processes and requirements.
• Recommend new manufacturing equipment by identifying vendors and operating equipment, evaluating capabilities and service history.
• Complete equipment cost projections by analyzing investment, return, and savings.
• Monitor equipment installations by advising crews.
• Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.

This position will be based out of our Minerva, OH location.The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to maximize throughput. Establish control charting of critical features and processes; monitors results and determines machine and process capabilities and performance reliability. Manage the implementation of new processes, selection of equipment to be purchased, and time estimates. Identify optimal tooling for machining.This person is also responsible for resolving issues with design, manufacturability, or build sequences. Ensure production-part acceptance and manufacturing readiness. Participate in adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency.
