Job summary

Victaulic Company is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer focused on shop-floor improvement. You will drive continuous improvement, support equipment reliability, and scale operations using lean principles and standardization.

Active in daily manufacturing operations, you will troubleshoot issues, support new equipment installations, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling tools is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with lean principles and standardization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, and Facilities Excellence initiatives.
• Learn, run, and program automated and robotic equipment; maintain programs and files.

This role is focused on driving continuous improvement, supporting equipment and process reliability, and helping scale operations through lean principles and standardization.You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to improve productivity, troubleshoot issues, and support new equipment installations. From optimizing plant layout to building preventative maintenance programs, this role plays a key part in keeping the facility running efficiently and safely.This is not a desk-only role—you’ll be actively engaged in daily manufacturing operations, providing technical direction, solving real-time issues, and ensuring processes are aligned with quality, safety, and performance standards. **This position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship.****Core Job Responsibilities*** Take part in (or lead) lean manufacturing, 5S, and Facilities Excellence work as assigned.* Learn, run, and program automated and robotic equipment.
