Job summary

NutraBio Labs, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes across powder, encapsulation, blending, and packaging.

You will lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives, partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, and help scale production for future growth in a regulated dietary supplement environment. You will develop BOMs and routings, conduct time and motion studies to set labor standards, analyze KPIs, and ensure FDA cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in regulated environments
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical) required
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
  • Experience with time and motion studies and labor standards
  • Familiarity with FDA cGMP regulations and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase productivity
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks, establish labor standards, and support capacity planning
  • Develop, maintain, and audit BOMs and routings to ensure planning and costing accuracy
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes across powder, capsule, blending, granulation, and packaging operations
  • Analyze production data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with FDA cGMP requirements and audit readiness
  • Support new product introductions through process development, documentation, and operator training
  • Partner with Maintenance and Facilities teams to support equipment qualification, reliability initiatives, and capacity expansion projects

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Middlesex, New Jersey. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

The Qualification:
  • 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline required
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience conducting time and motion studies and establishing labor standards
  • Knowledge of FDA cGMP regulations and regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience maintaining BOMs and routings within ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Direct experience manufacturing dietary supplements in powder and/or capsule form, with working knowledge of blending, encapsulation, granulation, and related unit operations
  • Exposure to equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
Preferred, but Not Required:
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience supporting high-growth manufacturing organizations
The Role:
  • Drive Operational Excellence and Support Scalable Growth as a Manufacturing EngineerReporting to Operations leadership, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and building the operational capabilities required to support business growth. This role serves as a key bridge between production, engineering, quality, and management teams while driving measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and throughput.
