Job summary

Lumicity in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join a hands-on engineering team working on precision-machined components and tooling for advanced aerospace, defense, and energy applications.

You will develop CAM programs, set up and operate CNC milling and turning centers, and collaborate with design engineers to improve manufacturability and process efficiency while ensuring GD&T and tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–4+ years of CNC machining experience in precision manufacturing, mold making, or complex 3D surfacing.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, Onshape, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAM programs, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning equipment.
• Manufacture high-precision molds, tooling, and prototype components.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve manufacturability and optimize production processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join a highly technical, hands-on engineering team working on complex, precision-machined components and tooling.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM programming, and precision manufacturing, with the ability to take ownership of projects from programming through final production.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
