Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Product Development/ Manufacturing Engineer for our client, an American manufacturer of luxury hot tubs, swim spas and pools, based out of Las Vegas, NV. This Engineer will bridge the gap between product design and production, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to manufacturing, while driving continuous improvement across operations. This is an individual contributor role, and this person will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing products and manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities:

• Design and improve manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
• Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs of new technology or automation in an effort to streamline and improve product development and manufacturing operations.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis tools
• Lead new product development efforts from concept through production, including prototyping, testing, validation, and launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Purchasing, Production) to ensure manufacturability and scalability of designs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and specifications.
• Participate in product lifecycle management and change control processes.
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Compensation:

$90,000 to $115,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
