Job summary

The Manufacturing Engineer at Fresenius Kabi USA provides technical leadership in machine design, process and operational efficiency for high-speed aseptic filling and packaging while ensuring cGMP compliant manufacturing. This role optimizes equipment layout and supports new product or process technology.

Key duties include ongoing technical support after project installation, leading CI initiatives, partnering with vendors to implement design specifications and implementing control systems

Qualifications

• Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.
• Contract specialty vendors and implement design specifications for manufacturing and packaging technologies.
• Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement projects.
• Lead CI initiatives such as OEE and Lean across manufacturing.
• Optimize equipment and process functionality; ensure cGMP compliant design.
• Implement control systems and PLC programming for automated manufacturing.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to provide technical leadership in machine design, process and operational efficiency for high speed aseptic filling and packaging technologies. The incumbent optimizes equipment layout, providing subject-matter-expertise for new product or process technology while ensuring cGMP compliant manufacturing.

Salary Range: $60,966 - $85,694

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.

• Provide on-going technical support for manufacturing operations after project installation.
• Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.
• Contract specialty vendors, actively partnering with vendors to implement design specifications, install and or refurbish manufacturing and packaging technologies.
• Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement (CI) projects.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, CI, Lean implementation) across the manufacturing function
• Optimize equipment and process functionality
• Drives cGMP compliant equipment design, will alter existing design using AutoCAD™
• Implement control systems, PLC programming of highly automated manufacturing technologies
