Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group client seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with extensive Aseptic Bottling and Packaging expertise to lead reliability and efficiency initiatives. The role focuses on data acquisition and analysis to reduce cost, increase capacity, and improve maintenance effectiveness, while guiding junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include project leadership, process and equipment design, lean practices, and ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance in a high-speed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required, Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing preferred.
• 7–10 years in a production manufacturing facility with emphasis on OEE and process improvements.
• Hands-on leader with project management experience.
• Experience in a food-grade environment (FDA, GMPs, HACCP) with high-speed packaging desirable.
• Strong CAD and automation knowledge; lean and Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead projects focused on reliability and machine efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve maintenance effectiveness.
• Use data acquisition and analysis to drive cost reductions and capacity gains.
• Teach and train junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is recognized worldwide for the highest level of product quality within their industry discipline. Due to continued organizational growth we are seeking an individual with extensive Aseptic Bottling and Packaging expertise for the role of Manufacturing Engineer. As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be tasked with the developing and leading projects focused upon reliability, machine efficiency improvement, root cause analysis, safety and increased maintenance effectiveness. Achieving these improvements will revolve around data acquisition and analysis for implementation in the manufacturing effort to reduce cost, increase capacity. Your ability to teach and train junior engineers and cross-functional teams in a collaborative fashion will be required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required:Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of engineering experience in a production manufacturing facility with emphasis on OEE and Manufacturing process improvements, Process & Equipment Design, and Project management.
• Experience managing projects and being a hands-on leader
• Experience in a food grade environment (FDA, GMP's, HACCP) with high-speed packaging equipment preferred
• Excellent computer skills, extensive Process and Packaging equipment design and operation, automation and controls (PLC, DCS, etc.) knowledge.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
• Familiar with AutoCad/Inventor/Solid works
