Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is an ITAR facility in the United States seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and support chemical and mechanical PCB processes. The role collaborates with senior engineers to define procedures and improve process capability, reliability and cost.

Candidates should hold an engineering degree and have extensive PCB manufacturing experience. Salary ranges between $85,000 and $100,000 annually, with total rewards including health, life and disability insurance, savings

Qualifications

Manufacturing Engineer

Job Purpose:

This position will work with Senior Process Engineers, responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the Chemical and/or Mechanical Process areas to produce state-of-the-art printed circuit boards.

Nature of Duties:

• Applies sound engineering principles and disciplines in order to understand and minimize the variability associated with the various processes and finished product attributes.
• Defines operating procedures and SPC methods to assist operators in production environment.
• Evaluates product and process capability, equipment reliability, process utilization and process cost opportunity while implementing improvements.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a PCB Manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of SPC principles as well as statistical representation of data and process/product variability required.
• Project management skills and strong written/verbal communication skills are required.

Salary Range (annual): $85,000.00 - $100,000.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
