Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (manufacturing/industrial preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing (optics preferred).
• Strong materials knowledge and understanding of CNC machining principles.

Responsibilities

• Process Documentation: Analyze fabrication and testing results, converting them into standardized work processes.
• Tooling and Fixture Design: Design tooling, fixtures, and processes for precision optical manufacturing.
• Technical Support: Provide support to production, engineering teams, and suppliers to resolve process issues.
• Innovative Process Improvement: Research and implement new tooling and process development for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Documentation: Analyze fabrication and testing results, converting them into standardized work processes that ensure consistent quality and performance.
• Tooling and Fixture Design: Design specialized tooling, fixtures, and processes that support the precision manufacturing of optical components.
• Technical Support: Provide crucial support to production, engineering teams, and suppliers, helping to resolve process‑related challenges and improve outcomes.
• Innovative Process Improvement: Research and implement cutting‑edge technologies in tooling design and process development, driving continuous improvement in precision manufacturing.

• In-depth understanding of optical specifications and fabrication processes in line with MIL and ISO standards.
