The Manufacturing Engineer will work with engineering, production, and quality to improve manufacturing processes, resolve production issues, and translate customer designs into efficient, repeatable manufacturing operations.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes for custom metal fabrication.
Review engineering drawings and specifications and support the transition of new work into production.
Work directly with production personnel to troubleshoot process issues and improve quality, efficiency, and delivery.
Support process documentation, tooling and fixture development, and production improvements.
Apply practical knowledge of CNC fabrication equipment, sheet metal manufacturing, and production problem-solving.
The ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a metal fabrication, machining, or similar production environment. A degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred. Practical shop experience and the ability to work directly with production personnel are important.
Knowledge of metal forming and press brake operations, laser cutting, metal punching, and manual and robotic welding is desired. Experience with CNC fabrication equipment, sheet metal manufacturing, and production problem-solving would be useful.
The position offers exposure to a broad range of custom metal fabrication processes, including CNC forming, laser cutting, punching, welding, machining, and assembly.
